Northern Design 2007 competition.
The competition is open to anyone from the North of England, who attends University or College and also to staff at these institutions.
There are 3 categories within the competition, covering a range of creative disciplines. These are as follows.
 
1. Illustration, Fine Art and Sculpture sponsored by Hallmark Cards.
2. Product Innovation and Conceptual Design sponsored by Pace Micro Technology
3. Digital Design and Photography sponsored by Dean Clough
 
 
 The initial stages consist of a series of workshops entitled ‘Creative Dens’ where entrants can receive constructive criticism and feedback on their ideas. These ‘Dens’ will take place in January 2007. The entries that impress the judges most will be showcased in an exhibition in June and the eventual winners will receive their awards at an awards ceremony. These prizes range from cash to placement opportunities with the sponsoring organisations.
